Exclamation Point Avatars?
What is up with these exclamation point (!) avatars YA! people are using? Does anyone else think that they look extremely lame and foolish?? They are uncreative and ugly!!!
My question WAS NOT what the avatar is... My question was do you like it, or think it is lame? In regard to "Iffy's" 'answer' That response comes across as really snobbish, regarding the "507 user." reply. Obviously the response indicates lack of patience or understanding to get that my question was weather anyone else thought the new avatar is lame, not why it is there, or what it is. Before one provides an 'answer' that is a lame attempt to make oneself look knowledgeable, one might try actually reading (And comprehending...) the question!

This is a new feature Yahoo! Answers has introduced. If you have no image and/or your Pulse Profile is set to 'hidden', you will have one of the 5 colors: teal, blue, green, orange and purple. Your color does not mean anything and you cannot change your color.

They are the new default avatar. Y!A is in the process of switching the gray faces to the new avatars. If you don't want one, you need to create yourself an avatar.

I lots favorite the silhouette we used to get, yet regrettably it became into purely male. Yahoo's choice, not theirs. They can change them if they want. Unless you have yours saved and posted as a JPG file, yours might turn into one eventually as well.
