I have tried many tricks to remove cooking smells like wipe down oil and food spatter, boil vinegar or citrus slices in water , open windows, spray air fresheners, light a candle, brew coffee or bake something etc. So please don't tell me another way/trick to get rid of the smell.
I just want to know if having an air purifier will work better.

Honeywell air purifiers come with several filters, including a couple of charcoal filters, that will remove odors from the air that is pulled through the purifier. Without special filtration, many household odors would still survive most filtration devices on the market. My Honeywell purifier is now about 20 years old and is ready for it 's second electric motor.

My air purifier doens't get rid of the smell right away, but within a few minutes ( it takes it about 10 min to completely cycle the air from the room) the smell is gone. I also plug in a glade air freshener right by my purifier outlet so the scent gets moved around the room a lot quicker.

i bought a GREEN AIR purifier, its great. removes everything. I love comming home walking inside and the air is so clean, like walking in a pool area but no clorine smell. removes smoke, cooking smells, even bacon smells, its awesome but will run you 175$ got ti on ebay. has a rinseable filter...ionic, it sanitizes too. it is really good, worth the money
