Gee, the Family Radio website looks completely different today...wonder why?

Not a word, not even the slightest mention about the 5/21 prediction and Camping's name is nowhere to be seen. Interesting that they are still busily panhandling for donations, tho. Could they have blown thru all the pre-Rapture proceeds already?

Actually, after a little more looking, Camping is still mentioned but only (afaict) with old essays and such...his previous prominent mention is certainly no longer the case. I did email the site's webmaster (or as they called it, 'webservant' - yeesh) inquiring when the revamping of the website was ordered. I don't really expect an answer, but it'd be damned interesting to know, wouldn't it?

They are regrouping and trying to figure out "what the hell happened that hell didn't happen/break loose?" They honestly believed they were going to be raptured. I was feeling sorry for some of them (I'm not a cruel person) until it was pointed out to me that they seemed to consider the rapture and the months or years of suffering for the rest of us a good thing. That's just sick, to wish harm on others. Now my attitude has changed from one of pity for them to more of a - as a dear friend of mine would say - "Go squat and piss up a tree, you rotten old hateful bastard" kind of thing. I have no sympathy for those who seem to look forward to the suffering of another just because they didn't believe the same way.

He has been exposed as a false prophet thus now wants all possible record to be eradicated off the face of the Earth but we will all remember.
He will be back in a few years to try it again only to fail AGAIN..
