Would it be possible, just for this holiday weekend?

to put the HATE on hold until Tuesday? Monday is Memorial Day, when (among others) we remember those who gave their lives in war. HATE causes WAR. Can we just call a moratorium on HATE for three days?

That was so beautifully stated. I second the motion.

Let's honor the brave men and women that sacrificed their lives, and those that CONTINUE to sacrifice so that we can have the freedom that we sometimes tend to take for granted. And, let's be thoughtful of the families that lost loved ones while serving around the world and the families that lost innocent family members on 9/11.

“The bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out to meet it.” Thucydides quote.

It would be absolutely wonderful. It would be even better to see the whole world at peace. God Bless our soldiers who are so brave to look after us. WAR IS SUCH A WASTE.

Those of us who observe Memorial Day can absolutely put our hate aside. Those who hate us, on the other hand, cannot.
