Anyone know a film called, like, "Honor and Glory", about a German soldier and a girl who has a child by him?

I am looking for the title of a movie that I saw some years ago on a local over-the-air broadcast (not cable) TV station. It was called something like, "The Honor and the Glory", and it was about a fairly young girl (teenager) whose family takes in a German soldier (probably during WW2), and she falls in love with him and has a child by him. I've searched online for the movie, but have never found anything. Ring a bell, anyone?

I think you've confused the name with the WW2 movie the Hope and the Glory, which isn't remotely the movie.


Could you be mixing that movie, which has a pregnant girl by an American soldier and the made for TV movie Summer of My German Soldier, which has a southern family and German POWs working for them, but no pregnancy? I mention this because of the rather odd plot you describe of a family taking in a German story, which is sort of what the movie Summer of My German Soldier is about.
