On Saturday, I was at a get together with family, and a boy that I knew from school came up to me and we hung out for a bit. He asked me for my number and i gave him my home phone and cell phone number. and he gave me a kiss. we somewhat have a mutual friend, but as of now she doesn't like me, and I am worried that she might per sway him on not asking me out...He told me he wanted to ask me out..but I haven't heard from him..How long does it take for a guy to call you? Should i not get my hopes up? confused..

i was the guy in this situation once. There are multiple things that can be preventing him from contacting you.  The best thing you can do is find a way to contact him. Facebook, myspace, or simply just ask other people if they have his number.  From the way you said it, it seems like he was interested in you and wanted to see you again and nothing the friend says is going to stop him from contacting you. Then again she does know you better than him so he may believe anything she says.  But dont think of the worst, He may of lost your number or his phone broke or dropped in water, YOU NEVER KNOW, which is why you need to find a way to contact him.

hope you find a way to talk to him cause you seem to like him and he seems to like you and there is nothing i like more than seeing other people with those they love.

Also, if you find out that girl was talking **** or preventing him from talking to you i hope you kick her *** =)
