strong suction power in vacuum?

not carpet cleaning vacuum, wether is ahandheld vacuum or an extension. what is the strongest vacuum out there to reach things far away.(without the nose of extension being right in front of it)
i fgure leaf blowers reach leafs over a foot away, cant that be reversed in order to create enough suction power to say pick those leaves up that are over a foot away? or even further? if not how far is it possible?

Many leaf blowers do reverse with the proper attachment. Sac and Vac was one model, go shopping at the hardware and garden store.
