Stainless Kimber Pro-Carry II .45 APC?

I have the opportunity to buy a Stainless Kimber Pro-Carry II .45 APC with laser grip for $700. Is that a good buy? What are your thoughts? Is there a better pistol out there for the money to use as a CC? Thanks for your time!

That is a very good deal. It is a good value for the money if you want to carry a 4" 1911.

I think that is an excellent deal for the cost in comparison to something new. HOWEVER, read gun forums and you will often see posts of comments of how small .45 kimber 1911s are not nearly as reliable as other guns. They are sexy looking things, but it seems to me they get far more "they are not reliable" comments then other guns. This includes handgun training instructors who see them fail a lot.

You may be buying that gun cheaper because it might not be very good.

That's a good deal for a PCII with the laser grip, especially if it's in really nice condition.

Shoot a few boxes of shells through it first to check for function and etc. Sometimes they look pretty but have a hidden glitch.
