I proposed to travel for my vacation on this month. Arrival time at Cochin airport is 03:40 early morning and my onward journey by train starts at 11.00 AM. I wonder whether I can get hotel/dormitory facility around Cochin airport or Aluva railway station.

Why don't you give Abad Airport Hotel a try? I have not personally stayed there but have met those who have.It is very close to the Airport, rates are reasonable and food(buffet) is quite good, so they say.It is also close to those agencies that manage holidays and backwater trips.And I am not sure about this either, but they do give discounts.
