As far as the Benghazi stuff, and IRS stuff go, that's not really anything new. I'm more concerned about the phone taps. When did that become okay? Is the White House now big brother?

Would this White House have been better served to have provided clear, accurate and undoctored responses to questions before they blew up in their faces? To say they did not amend the story on Benghazi and be caught in that lie. To say (in very parsed words) they (Obama) and his White House had no prior knowledge or the IRS scandal, when it was on several news reports over 2 years. To back an AG that had to use Executive Privilege to hide it's illegal actions in Gun Runner. To have an AG that did not follow the limited scope of the law with the AP phone record/wire taps. If Obama and his Dept heads had just told the truth the first time around there would not be several hearing going on all at the same time. Transparency was a myth they used to convince some people to support them and it just may backfire in 2014 and 2016.

Source(s): This Presidency and lack of honesty and transparency.
  • IRS Scandal: Who's going to go to jail? Is one "cutout" resignation who was already scheduled to be done in 2 weeks enough to cover up 3 years (or more) of lawbreaking, political patronage, and persecution? How many people were involved at how many different IRS offices? How many times did management try to reign this in, and why were they not effective? Will the IRS offices involved be providing any funding or paying any fines to the organizations that were wrongly persecuted to attempt to make up for all the charitable contributions that were lost due to delays?

EPA Scandal: Is this going to be discussed? Is anyone going to even have to apologize for blatant politicization of the FOIA request process at the EPA?

Benghazi: Is the filmmaker still in jail because of the lies from the top? Will Hilary Clinton ever address the questions regarding why the requests were denied, why the ambassador was there, why additional protection was denied? Will President Obama address why he or a direct subordinate made the decision not to even attempt to help the consulate, and to order the fast response team to stand down?

AP Scandal: I've got nothing, other than how many Nixonesque scandals does it take before the press starts treating this administration with the contempt they deserve?

Fast and Furious: Has the Administration apologized for providing arms to mexican drug lords that resulted in the deaths of 3 Americans and hundreds of mexicans? Why was this done, since no effort was made to track these weapons?

Pipeline: How long does it take to review an application?

    Source(s): I've got more.

Who will ultimately be held accountable ineach of the scandals ( The AP, Benghazi, and The IRS).

    What consequences might they incur?

Or will there be no consequences, other than a few resignations?

In addition to the scandals that were exposed, what are some of the others that are pending and still hidden?

Have we seen only the tip of the iceberg? (I think that's the case)

Why are laws that violate the constitution allowed to pass and remain on the books over time?

Why should anybody honor any such laws?

What business does any official have enforcing such laws?

Since federal reserve notes are legal tender (in blatant violation of article 1, sections 8 and 10) but NOT legal money since there's nothing in the reserve to back up their face value, how can the IRS legally tax them as income when all they truly represent is interest debt?

Why are the first two days' emails of the Administration re Benghazi not yet released, while the later emails re the Benghazi attack have been released? The inference by some reporters is that the earlier emails present evidence that contradicts later talking points of the Administration's spokespeople.

You ran for office in 2008 under the guise of ending Iraq & Afghanistan along with shutting down Gitmo all in a matter of weeks; you have done nothing of the sort, instead having extended all three issues & now you're preparing to wage war on Syria as you continue to support Islamic extremists such as the Muslim Brotherhood & al Qaeda; you support the Patriot Act and similar laws. You even continue to support corporate-sponsored policies such as TARP, auto bailouts, nationalized healthcare & the individual mandate, minimum wage laws, progressive taxation, AND patent laws such as SOPA, PIPA, CISPA, & ACTA; to add insult to injury, you support Monsanto & the "internet neutrality" crap.

When will your government end its war against the Individual?

Has the administration run out of free passes from the mainstream media? The coverage over the years reminds me of a classic book title concerning the insider's club inside The Beltway "On Bended Knee".

So there's this political organization. Their main mantra is that they shouldn't have to pay any taxes. On April 15th they gather in front of the IRS building with automatic weapons and carry signs that say "Time to water the tree of liberty" which is their cutesy way of saying they want to start treasonous armed insurrection against the government of the United States of America. They are secretly funded by an oil company with a history of environmental violations, and whose main goal is to eliminate the EPA. They are promoted by a shady Australian businessman who runs an propaganda based "news" organization that has been busted in the past for numerous international criminal activities. And their top political supporters are people who were caught up in financial scandals like Newt Gingrich and Sarah Palin. These organizations are being checked out by the IRS to make sure their tax exempt status is legal and the IRS agents didn't break any actual laws. Is anyone really surprised the IRS was doing their jobs by investigating an organization with so many red flags?

If this is a real scandal then shouldn't there have been a congressional investigation into Leona Helmsley getting audited and sent to jail after boasting "Only the little people pay taxes", was there really that much of a difference?

At the top of my list are these two questions:

    1. Why was acting IRS chief Miller fired when he wasn't even there when this happened?

Everyone I speak to wants to know this, it makes no sense that Miller was fired when he was not there at the time this happened.

    2. Since these are federal employees working for the United States tax-paying citizens and this crime goes beyond workplace incompetence, what are the legal precedents that make this a more severe crime?
