I have opted for AS Level English and Maths, and A level in Economics, Business Studies and Geography. A few days back I learnt that Business Studies will not be considered for admission to good universities. Is there any good university which would consider my subjects favourably?

Yes. Economics and geography are good, academic subjects, as are maths and English. Business studies maybe isn't so much, but depending on which universities you're applying to you'll be fine having one "non-traditional" or vocational subject. I had media studies along with two traditional subjects and got into universities, a some of my friends were in similar positions.
And to be person who replied first, the correct spelling is "business" you imbecile.
