What are the average sales commissions for international sales?

I have an offer from a broker to become their agent abroad but I have no idea how much I should get for the sales. They will usually have a margin between 5% and 10 %. I would have to do the marketing research and first contact/visit (in different cities some of them far from mine). The company would close the negotiation.

margin isn't that important. you need to look at your overall package to determine your position. you could have a small margin, but a bigger salary. also, any housing allowance, hardship allowance, etc.

if you have 5-10 years of sales experience as a BDM, you could be earning 6-10k/month with allowance when going abroad
