caramel apple fudge recipe?

A lady I talked to a couple times at my work told me about some caramel apple fudge that her friend tried and was delicious but she didn't know a recipe. I was hoping someone may have an idea.

Thanks but I was trying to figure out a way to make fudge but with caramel and apples in it. I was thinking maybe I could make it like regular fudge but use caramel and shred apples in it.

You make caramel by melting the most common sugar (the white stuff you put in coffee) in a gradually heated pan, stirring all the time, and not allowing it to burn!

Once it has melted and turned brown, you add in fudge chunks, which you can buy at most supermarkets.

Then you dip the apple in it and leave it to set.

You can also make it as a cake/dessert topping, but making the caramel, adding the fudge, then slicing up apple really thin and stirring it through. Then add it to the top of the cake/middle of the cake/which ever dessert you're putting it on, and leaving it to set.

Chocolate Caramel Apples

Preparation:

1. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil and spraying the foil with nonstick cooking spray.

2. Wash and dry the apples carefully. Remove the stems, and stick the skewers firmly in the stem ends.

3. Place the unwrapped caramels and the water in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, then stir, then microwave for and additional minute or until completely melted. The caramel should be smooth and liquid by the end.
