Shouldn't you feel guilty about making more than 250k per year?
You studied in high school instead of goofing off, you worked your way through college instead of partying, you went to graduate school, law or medical school while others were already starting a family and working. Now you are making a great living. Don't you feel that you got there on the backs of the poor?

Why should you? You worked hard to get there. Everyone makes their own choices in life. People are poor because they chose to be so or because of their lack of action. It's the basis upon which capitalism is founded.
That's not always the case. Most successful people were born into successful families and were able to do all the partying they wanted and still get into a better college than most people. That being said no, you should not feel guilty about being successful. If I was born with a million dollars I guarantee you I wouldn't be feeling guilty.
Your facetiousness is well executed. ~- That being said, if I were so financially blessed, I would thank God every day for allowing it to happen, and, unlike Bill Gates or Warren Buffett, I wouldn't give money to nebulous foundations which I've never heard of helping ordinary people, I'd take great pleasure in giving away a lot of cash money to every kind of person who needs and would accept it.
Now, if on the other hand, you are Paris Hilton, won the womb lottery and make money with your money, without creating jobs or consuming on a level that feeds the economy... well that's fine also. Just pay your fair share of taxes. You don't have to pay a higher level than middle class me, just pay the same percentage of income as I do with no loopholes, and we'll get along just fine.
