As the leaves fall so does my mood seasonally affected like a leafless gloom sunlight disappearing from shortened days as I chase these moods from a cloudy haze I'd like to dis-order these seasonal ways and bring the sunshine back to my days

I love the fall and winter! It's so beautiful, as long as the roads are nice of course. I like your poem, its very clear and well written. There are probably a few words or phrases you could leave out to bring more clarity. "Seasonally affected Like a leafless gloom" Is, in my opinion, the most potent line. Be sure to keep revising and editing. I'd suggest putting it away for a while and then pull it back out.

I think everyone does to an extent. when I lived up North in Prince George, Anahim Lake and Kamloops I was finally told that was my problem, I was extrememly anemic as well. My thyroid off the charts at times and still... my SAD is not as BAD in Alabama I do like your poem but the colorful trees in all their glorious array are a bit of heaven to my tired soul
