How Do You Like This Poem?
Days pass and days go
Deeds and choices
Will surely show
As the months drain
The minutes drizzle by
The second past one will by now die
By two the waiting hour hand lies
Stretching and Yearning for the next moon tide
Past three and past four
Intersecting through the core
Through five and six
The flow of numbers mix
By seven and eight, the date is quite late
By now, you may choose your fate
Nine and ten tick on and on
Seeming an eternity until dawn
Eleven and twelve makes their mark
Decisions made and surely parked
Are lifted up through the barrier
Time passes through the eyes of the carrier
Listen please, decisions do not last an hour
Until the day ends, time will cower.
