How long does it take to for At&t to cut off your cell phone?
I just got At&t a little more than a month ago, but i got laid off. From what they tell me, my bill is due between the 20 - 26th, and after that, it can be cut off - even though it wasnt activated until the 1st. I told them i wont have money until friday and they said that it could still be cut off and they dont make payment arrangements until you have been a customer for 6 months. this was not told to me when i first got the service. So does anyone knows how long the grace period is? Can I hold off until Friday or not? Serious replies only. Thx!

I want to clarify again, that because I haven't been a customer for 6 months yet, they will not take anything less than the bill amount. I tried to set up an arrangement, even to put some money down, and they told me no, that the entire bill is due. :( This SO was not discussed when i first got the service, or I would have weighed my options................
