my cat wont eat...i've been foce feeding for a couple of weeks now.?

I'm just putting this out here out of desperation hoping someone might come up with something.
  My cat is 11..he started vomiting about a month ago for a few days..then he just refused to eat after that.
    blood work was perfect
     xrays were fine 
     pancreatic test was negative.
    ultrasound showed gallstones...further testing and a  follow up ultrasound this week showed no blockage and the gallstones were just there not causing any problems.
     I decided this past tuesday to have his teeth done because we just couldn't figure out why he would not eat...4 teeth were bad and pulled this past tuesday.
     The cat still refuses to eat,..he has no interest in food at all..won';t even look at it if i put it in front of him
     I am getting a can of prescription maximum calorie food in him a day by force feeding.
   I had a board certified internist look at him...everyone is just at a complete loss of why he has no appetite.

Is there a growth obstruction in his throat?  Can he smell anything?  A cat with blocked sinuses can refuse to eat.

You can try offering him shreds of KFC chicken (no bones or coating), the smell of that is very strong and encourages reluctant cats to eat.  Warming meat baby food to a comfortable temperature can do it too.

Keep syringe feeding him. And make sure he's drinking enough, a dehydrated cat looses interest in eating.  If he's still vomiting, ask about giving 1/4 tablet of Pepcid A/C (the only cat safe one) once a day to settle his stomach.

Did they check for IBD?

If you're using soft food, heat it in the microwave for 15 seconds, stir it and let it cool down a little. The warm food has a stronger smell and could interest him.
If you're using dry, put a little water in it, warm it up in the microwave, and let it soften.  Same thing for the smell, and the dry food won't hurt his mouth when he chews.
Try mixing some tuna fish with his food too (temporarily-it's not good in the long term for them to eat tuna fish).  It's the ultimate kitty treat.
You're doing everything right.  Keep using the meds for a few more days and stay in touch with the vet's office. Call them daily if you want to.  My vet encouraged it when one of my cats was sick.

Sorry you're in this predicament.  It sounds like you're doing all the right things!  Have you/your vet tried appetite stimulant and/or anti-nausea medication?  Might be worth a shot.  Sometimes they get in a cycle where they don't eat because they don't feel good, but after awhile they don't feel good because they're not eating.  Sometimes those two things will be enough to get them back in the groove.  Good luck!
