After using my new ipad and going to apps it freezes ?

If I use my Ipad for about an hour and then go to Apps, I run into the following problem. Let's say I touch a category, music for example, and I see Chopin Piano, when I touch it, it does not go to the information screen. Neither Apple nor Best Buy can give me any advice that works. If I turn the Ipad off and then back on it works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing this is an iPad2? There have been a number of complaints about it crashing while using certain apps or watching videos. I'm a little surprised Apple still hasn't addressed them.

Is it only one particular app that's causing the freeze? If so, it may mean simply deleting it. Also, if the app you're trying to use dependent on a WiFi connection, it may be the iPad's not connecting.

My daughter had a similar problem with her iPad2, and we ended up taking it back to the Apple store for a complete restore. That worked only for a short time, and then it began freezing again.

You might try some of the suggestions we found in this thread: but IMHO the iPad2's OS is buggy and wasn't tested properly by the designers. A huge disappointment.
