I have a work laptop, and I need to "clean" it before it is returned. How can I do this?
Thanks for your help!

Okay, I mean to delete all personal files, etc. not related to the job programs. I do know how to clean the exterior. I am a nurse and not terribly "techy", so please walk me through exactly how this can be done. Thanks!

Easy, Install revo unistaller and delete all programs that you downloaded then clean all files that you think that are not associated with your work. After doing all this from your browser delete all history, passwords, temporary files and all websites shortcuts that you may have. There is another last thing to do remove user accounts that you may have created if you where the administrator, leave only the one created by your laptop provider.
We don't know if you talking about cleaning the outside of the laptop or removing your personnel data or delete all data, removing your data is simply deleting the files removing all data is go to computer or my computer, right click the hard drive icon , scroll to format and click it, reminder all data including the os is removed
