What is the true meaning of the word "fair" that Obama likes to use so much?
"Pay their fair share"??? If almost half of the population pays no income tax then how is anything "fair"? If you work and pay taxes you should be upset that any money is being spent that isn't absolutely necessary, if you don't pay taxes then you think raising taxes as much as possible is a good idea.

That's the way 49% of Obama Supporters think, because they are all unemployed and drawing government Checks. And they get a flat rate Tax Check at the end of the year all they have to do is file! Simply put FAIR should not be spoken by Obama! If he wants to be fair make those that receive a Government Check do something for the check like WORK! Don't tell me all that draw unemployment checks or government check can't work they won't work.
If you don't understand the concept of fairness, it's impossible to explain it.
People who can barely afford to eat every day shouldn't HAVE to pay taxes -- as everyone with either a brain or a heart would realize.
Why is it ONLY people who do all the work, and are grossly underpaid, should pay taxes, while those who own almost everything don't have to pay taxes?
No HUMAN finds that fair.
Obama isn't calling for raising taxes on people struggling to survive -- only on those who have almost all the money and current pay a LOWER rate than the people who do all the WORK.
Why do Republicans completely HATE everyone who actually does all the work? They don't think they should be paid a living wage, but they should pay all the taxes; and only the rich should get any government services.
Fair is when the country has huge debt, and the GOP Tea Party Republicans are screaming about how important the deficit is, and how the debt is destroying the country, then they should support the policy that ends tax cuts for the people that need them least. The rich like Mitt Romney that are paying 15% should be paying the same rate as the middle class 30%. That would be fair, no one gets hurt by it and it starts putting the country back onto the right track of beginning to reduce the debt without hurting the middle class and the poor. It is time for some fairness and to END the class warfare that has been waged for the last 40 years against the middle class and poor.
It means that when you make $20 million a year on interest from investments like Romney does you should be taxed at the same rate as those of us who work everyday! Listen I don't care that Mittens is rich and makes that kind of money without having a job! Good for him! What I mind is that he pays 13% while I pay 35% or whatever. . . That is what he means by FAIR! Some one PLEASE explain how that is fair? Does that money spend different than the money you work for?
@Inspired You mean like the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002? Explain to me what makes the American farmer worthy of government money but not the American auto worker?!?! The right wants to bitchabout Obama spending too much money but then they want to send troops BACK into Iraq and into Iran. Both the left and the right like spending money. They just fight about what to spend it on!
"We're going to close the unproductive tax loopholes that have allowed some of the truly wealthy to avoid paying their fair share. In theory, some of those loopholes were understandable, but in practice they sometimes made it possible for millionaires to pay nothing, while a bus driver was paying 10 percent of his salary, and that's crazy. It's time we stopped it."~Ronald Reagan June 6, 1985
"What we're trying to move against is institutionalized unfairness. We want to see that everyone pays their fair share, and no one gets a free ride. Our reasons? It's good for society when we all know that no one is manipulating the system to their advantage because they're rich and powerful. But it's also good for society when everyone pays something, that everyone makes a contribution." Ronald Reagan June 6, 1985
