Why do people think that i am older? ?

Hi, i am a 23 year old male of indian descent and i have this problem where people think i am much older than i am. The worst one was someone call me 38....and some people say that i am weird for my age....i dont drink, smoke or anything like that but i still get called names....i have also had people say that i speak weird....i speak proper english and try avoiding slangs and still get frowns. I dress simple with mostly jeans and t shirts and normally have like a 1mm full facial hair. I am quite analytical of all situations so i think that doesnt help but then i dont know. Hopefully i get an answer

i don't really know how you look like but first if you are fat, most of the time fat or obese people look twice there age.and second is how you act or behavior are to your friend like for example i am 19 years old but my friend and many people tell me that i am 17 years because i act childish and  i really do not take thing serious.so i am thinking the reason is you either your act/behavior or physical appearance .but i think you should use it as an advantage people will take you serious and respected unlike me when i talk to people they don't take me serious cus they think i am joking i remember when i broke up with my gf and she thought it was a prank.

Without a photo of you we cant gauge how old you look ,but i would not worry you are has old has you feel ,
