Do you cut up cooked broccoli for you toddler?

My twins are 17 months old. Should I still dice up their steamed broccoli or just give it as larger pieces?

The kind I buy is about cotton ball sized.

They handle foods very well (so far at least, knock on wood!). I don't cut up breads for them.

I give my 17 month old pieces about the size of a cotton ball. I don't go to any particular trouble to dice it up, I just cut of the smaller "trees" and serve them intact. Same for cauliflower!

In my experience if you are to carefully sometimes that's worse I was never to carefully with anything just cut there hotdogs n grapes n they've never chocked but my sis is a little more carefull n I gave her two n a half year old a peice of pizza n she chocked not bad she was able to cough it up but my point I'd you have to give the. The poetry ity to learn how to chew there find n take butes

It depends on how they handle their food.. My son at that age I would cut it in to bite sized pieces.. BUT not give him the whole thing.. I still cut certain things up for him at 3 but I now give him broccoli hole. But my son has a habit of putting to much in his mouth at once.

leave it or let them stab it with a toddler fork and eat it of in bites...

also my kids got older i left more of a stem on and the love to hold them and call them, "Broccoli Trees"...then eat them from the top down.....

sadly I have to blend it up and hide it in stuff or it will not be eaten.
