What should I do? Help please?

In 2010, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. She is currently in remission. I go to a local college, but I want to try to go away to design school. My parents are divorced, my brother lives about an hour away, and my sister is 30, lives at home, can't afford her own place, and complains if she has to help out my mom. I want to try to help out my mom as much as I can to lessen her changes of her cancer returning. What should I do? I want to go to college, but I want to make sure my mom is ok too. She does a lot of work. I want I follow my dreams, but I want to help out my mom too. No colleges around me have the major I want.

Go to Design School but be sure to call in on your mum every week or every day to show you really care!! If you graduate Design school maybe you can get a really good fashion job and use the money to help her!!
Good Luck!!

You are very kind. Go and do your own thing ASAP before your chances are long gone. 30+ sister will ***** and moan, but she will learn to help your mom. Your mom likely wants what is best for you. She can cope. Person like you should have ten kids! Go find right guy. Mom will be OK.

College ... a lot of the colleges are waste of time and money. Go to a REAL college. If it is Pheonix, RUN AWAY! Do not spend good money at a phoney college. Also, do not pay more in tuition than the state college charges. If they want more, negotiate. Tell them your story. Make them MATCH the state college rate -- in writing. Tell them your story, and why you need a specific rate. Play two or three colleges against eachother. When one gives you a break, show it to the others, make them BEAT the other deal.
