ok, first, they did not say they will tear South (as nation) into ashes but they will destroy South Korean President and his goverment and that operation will take 3 to 4 minutes. so I dont think they ment nuclear attack but some special agents/ intelligence operation.
secondly, this was said AFTER South Korean military announced last week that it had deployed a cruise missile capable of striking any site in North Korean territory....so basically they had to react somehow to this and they came up with this stupid threat. the usual....
