how do i make minecraft use my switchable graphics?

I recently bought a laptop from hp, and it has switchable graphics between intel hd graphics and a radeon hd 7690m graphics card. however it runs minecraft at about 20 fps because it is using the intel hd graphics. i have tried setting my graphics for fixed in my bios (so it is constantly using my good card) and it runs minecraft at about 200 fps for about 5 minutes then crashes. when this happens it says "driver has stopped responding, and has recovered". i have tried updating my bios and my graphics driver and they are up to date. i dont know what is happening, but i do know that it is happening to other people as well. is there anything that i can do to fix this?

I couldn't really think of anything besides using your other graphics and keeping a low render distance, and damn 200fps

acceptable interior the adventure that your as avid of a minecrafter as me your gonna p.c. to bypass all out on it spending time and wanting extra suitable suited imaging and stuff so first be sure the image card your pc is working. it will be an more desirable weaker card and likewise you need to certainly replace it with a extra helpful pics card like the geforce 4 mx 440 via technique of nvidia that's rather slightly a call for for it or the geforce 8600 GS for optimal overall performance it hasnt have been given something with the ram or the cost reason those are relatively slightly what you like for minecraft plus decrease back the classes working on the historic previous the prefer be taking on distinctive the ram interior the back of the scenes. different than that u can fidget around on the minecraft settings reason even a 8 365 days old might desire to establish em out.

Update your graphics drivers, then right click minecraft before you open it and chose the option to use your other graphics card.
