Are Blood+ and Blood-C related?

And if so, in what order should I watch them?

Would also appreciate a small motivation as to why I should be watching them, it's just that I see them show up at recommendations for series that I have watched a LOT so I started to wonder if I might go ahead and watch them.

I just don't know the order to watch them in IF they are related?

Yes they are related and watch Blood Plus before you watch Blood C.

I would say, but I have never seen Blood-C. I will have to watch that!
