im having doubts about the bible. some things just seem....illogical. is there any proof of it being true or not true? please list some evidence. Do not put "the bible is proof itself" because a book cant prove the stories inside it.

Nope, none whatsoever.
Not only does the bible contain a huge number of self contradictions, it also contains a large number of factual, logistical, & historical errors. Not to mention several things that are just flat out absurd (talking donkeys anyone?)
The gospels were not even written until decades after Jesus supposedly died & weren't even written by eyewitnesses, the myths had already been passed down orally for around 50 years before they were written down. Ever played Chinese whispers? Imagine how screwed up the message would get after 50 years?
The bulk of the rest of the NT was written by a single man, Paul who never met Jesus (even if Jesus ever existed) & very likely had mental issues (he refers to his "affliction" several times in the epistles). For example, it is likely that his "vision" on the road to Damascus was nothing more than the result of a mild stroke or bout of schizophrenia.
You have to wait until well into the 2nd century before there is ANY ex-biblical reference to Jesus & by that time the stories had been circulating for so long that these are useless for telling fact from fiction. What we do know is that the Romans kept detailed records of the events in Judea at the time that Jesus was supposedly alive yet there is not a single mention of him in any of their records. There are references to other people, but not Jesus.
What we now call the bible in no way resembles the original myths & stories. They have been heavily & selectively edited, exaggerated, altered & destroyed over the centuries (especially in the period between the 3rd & 5th Century.
An excellent book on all of this is called "Lost Christianities" by Bart Ehrman. Alternatively there is a youTube user called TruthSurge who has put together a fantastic video series called "Excavating the Empty Tomb" which I highly recommend if you would like to know more about this.
The bible is what is called "Faction" A fictional story set in a factual time and place. Thus the time, place and real historical characters are all correct but the fictional characters and stories are not!
There is not one single mention of Jesus in the entire Roman record - that is right - not one! At the same time as he was supposed to have been around there were a number of Jews claiming to be the messiah - all of whom are well recorded!
There is not a single contemporary record from any source and even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!
He was supposed to have been a huge problem to the Romans and produced wonderful miracles but still not one contemporary record?
Even the bible mentions of him like all other references were not written until many years after his supposed death!
Pilate is recorded in the Roman record as a somewhat lack luster man but no mention of a Jesus, a trial or crucifixion that would surely have been used to make him look brighter!
At best he was an amalgam of those others but almost certainly never existed!
The Roman Emperor Constantine produced the bible and he was a pagan not god! He took the Jewish religion, organized it into Christianity and then into the Holly Roman Catholic Church!! Not in Israel or any of the countries of supposed origin but entirely ITALIAN!
Not one word of it is contemporary with the period and was not written until several hundred years after the period the story is set in!! How did the apostles write their books more than a hundred years after they would have been dead?
You can look into fulfilled prophesy. The Bible has predicted the future, accurately, in detail and many years into the future. It has done this over and over again.
You can look into archeaological evidence that the people, places and events existed. You might like "The Arceaological Bible" that has lots of evidence.
You can read "The NEW Evidence That Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowel. He compiled tons of evidence. Seriously - get this book.
You can look into Jesus. No serious historian doubts that Jesus walked the earth. Look into the various theories of why his tomb is empty. They all fall flat except one.
You can remember answered prayers like I have. Many answered prayers against the odds.
You can look at the changed lives. God has totally changed my life.
The number of copies distributed worldwide since 80 AD. The fact that 24,000 copies were in circulation from 45 - 80AD .
You can probably find most the proof in the book: The Truth About Creation & Evolution 75 Ways Science Supports Creation & Disproves Evolution. - by Robert Knopf
Try a Bible Encyclopedia. That way you can look at all sorts of evidence. If the evidence becomes weighty enough, you may consider it proof. That's how proof is obtained, there needs to be exposure to evidence.
