2003 Grand Prix squeeling after brakes replaced.?

So, when I bought the car, I figured it needed brakes because they were squeeking and squeeling occasionally. I put all new ceramic pads on , all the way around. Now it stops like a champ, but the squeeling is constant, whenever the car is in motion. I suspect the noise is coming from the rear. Is it possible the bearings need replacing?

Wheel bearings never squeal. Usually they grind & growl. I would jack up each wheel & spin the tire. See if any of the backing plates have gotten bent over & rubbing on the rotor. I have seen that a lot from small rocks getting lodged also. Make sure it isnt a backing plate rubbing. Also, when you got each wheel jacked up, make sure there is no play in each wheel bearing. A very loose wheel bearing can cause issues. Look at the rotor surfaces, anything look like it has been rubbing on it????

Sometimes, the rotor can be worn at such a bad angle that it can still cause that noise. Usually when brake pads wear, they also cause the rotor to wear out at a slight angle so they are no longer true or flat. You may want to have the rotors resurfaced if there is enough thickness left on them.
