What tires came on the 2009 Subaru Forester XT from the factory?

I bought a used 2009 Subaru with 24,000 miles on it. Unfortunately the tires appear to have 40,000+ miles on them (according to a tire dealer that examined the tires) - so Iam going back to the dealership to haggle this out but, I'd like this ammunition. A car with 24,000 miles on it should come with tires that have 24,000 miles on it right? I have had this happen before when buying a used car and it is so frustrating!
