How can anyone support Romney?

Here is how Romney made the majority of his money.

1.) His company (Bain) buys a business
2.) that business takes out large business loans
3.) Bain charges the business "consulting fees"
4.) In order to pay back the loans the company is forced to fire "useless" people... predominately the older workers who would also have a harder time finding new jobs and tend to have children and grandchildren.
5.) The management (who were given large bonuses to get them to cooperate) jump ship and the business ultimately goes bankrupt.

Obama made the majority of his money from selling a few books.

Which do you want in charge of the country... the one that raped and pillaged American businesses for profit or the one that created something?

Nope that IS how it worked... and why would a company that does this go out of business when it is EXTREMELY profitable for the people in control. I wish I were lying, I wish that all those people that lost their jobs had them still.

The only way to stop this is to stop giving loans to business involved with Bain... but there is no way for a bank to know... they were giving loans to company X, not Bain. And the banks have no way to go after Bain for the money any more than they could go after anyone else that company X paid for services.

The person that said Obama was born in Kenya needs to shut up and let the grown ups talk.

@ trapped in LA... there is no realistic way to find that out.... but Romney's Net worth is over 250 million, in order to make that kind of money in such a short period ... figure about 2 billion dollars worth of companies. Now to get that much from small and distressed companies.... thousands of companies... hundreds of thousands of jobs lost.

Don't forget how he said he doesn't care about the 47% of middle to lower class Americans. And how he called them parasites and made fun of how they are victims.

1) Yes, businesses that were in danger of failing.
2) Finding additional capital is bad for a struggling business?
3) Agreed, Bain should not make any money - simply spend it. Like the government.
4) People are the highest expense in any business. Consider that everyone was likely going to be sent home without a job had Bain not stepped in.
5) Some businesses did very well. Others failed. If you want to talk about golden parachutes for execs of failed businesses, it's possible you actually have a solitary point in all of this, but tying that to Romney is pretty tenuous.

Obama's record: Over 5 trillion in new debt. Gas prices have nearly doubled. 8.1% unemployment. $5K decrease in middle class median income. 47 million on food stamps. 1 out of 6 Americans living in poverty. Foreign policy in total chaos.

Simple, I just AM supporting Romney, that's how. I don't care if he's wealthy, he has an actual PLAN on how to get the economy going again. Obama has yet to even release a budget, 4 years into his term. Bain took charge of companies that were going under, some went under, some it actually turned around; no business is absolutely perfect but it seems like people expect it to be. Show me a perfect business and I will show you a flying unicorn; it doesn't exist.

Considering the last two weeks watching the Obama administration's reaction to the protests and the killing of 4 Americans, I'm wondering who on earth would vote for Obama? He's either the most inept, incompetent person who's ever occuped the WH or he's purposely lying to the American people to boost his own ego.
Even now he's still blaming a video when our own state department says it was all a planned terrorist attack.
He doesn't deserve a 2nd term.
I'm voting for Romney because I hope some sanity will return to America.

You're really lying, and you know it. You're a very good liberal. Harry would be SO proud of you. Let me ask you this: do you ever really get the truth? Do you know what unemployment figures means? Do you know what our national debt is and what that debt means to our children and grandchildren. Were you proud of your president when his response to the murder of 4 innocent Americans in Libya was "It's been a tough day"? If you really knew the facts and the truth about this president, you wouldn't be on here spewing lies about Mitt Romney. He's a decent, honest, smart man who can turn this country into a winner again, and people like you just don't want to see it. God help us.
