Lemon and Chocolate Ice cream cake?
My husband wants to make a Chocolate and Lemon Ice Cream Cake. I am looking for ideas on how I can incorporate the Lemon and Chocolate together. Any Ideas would be great thanks!

One of my favorite combinations in the world! Here are some ideas:
Lemon cake layers with dark chocolate brownie ice cream in between. Frost with whipped cream.
Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream that has been softened and mixed with lemon zest and lemon juice. Top with dark chocolate ganache.
Vanilla cake, chocolate ice cream, lemon whipped cream or buttercream.

Lemon and chocolate are not the best combination. If he insists, try making a torte with chocolate cake and lemon ice cream.
Bake two rounds of chocolate cake and cool completely. Carefully split each round in half sideways. Warm lemon ice cream in the microwave about 35 seconds, or until it is easiy to spread. Place several scoops on top of one of the half-rounds and gently smooth it out. Top with the other half-round, the repeat with the other layers.
Make a chocolate frosting (or buy it) and frost the outside of the cake as you would normally do, working quickly. Place the finished cake in the freezer. Remove from the freezer about 15 minutes before serving.

You could just do layers. Either a brownies or chocolate cake base, then a layer of lemon ice cream, then a layer of chocolate ice cream on top. Decorate it with candied lemons or something.
