My English is not good. Need help.?

Read about a job opening on the internet looking for a Technician. So I wanted to say that I was excited to read about the job opening and that they are looking for a technician. In a shorter and simpler sentences. Is this correct?

I was excited to read that you're looking for a Technician.

It doesn't sound right. As if something was missing. Any suggestion?
