will my friend still recieve my message after my facebook is permanently deleted?

I deleted my account permantly (delete, NOT deactivate) as its become too much hassle and want to create a new one when i move in a month with only my actual friends.
But i just sent an email to my friend just before i deleted it, with the number to contact me on so we can still keep in touch.
will he still receive this message though?

rebecca you can delete, it's a very hidden option though, i tried logging in again and it says it has been deleted and does not exist. and i had another friend try looking me up and i wasn't there.

Unfortunately, there is no way to permanently 'delete' your facebook account... once it's created, it's kind of there forever. If you were to type in your email address and fb password, you will happily (or unhappily) find that it still exists. However, as long as the message sent before you deleted it (which is likely considering the time it takes to deactivate), your friend should have gotten the message. You might want to get their number too, next time you decide to get rid of your fb ;)

Yes they will still receive your message even after you have deleted your account. It's just that they cannot click on your profile anymore because you have deleted it after sending the message. It'll say that the user is no longer available or something along that line.
