K which bullet would you rather get hit by .45ACP or .357 Magnum?

45... slower, smaller hole

i load 45 bullets really fast. the faster they go, the bigger the hole. (until you make them go so fast they explode, then the target explodes too)
357 is faster than 45, therefor HP bullets should make bigger holes (even though 357 is smaller bullet caliber)

if my logic is wrong i'm sorry. all i know is 357 mag defensive ammo is 0.359" 110 grain bullet going 1400 fps vs 45 acp defensive is 0.452" 230 grain bullet going 835 fps. Higher velocity- HP's expand more aggressively, bigger holes. some stuff like 223 (0.224") expands so violently it can put grape-fruit sized holes in people (aside from the damage caused by hydrostatic shock)

"Which one would you rather get shot with" is not the way to determine which is better. They're both just as capable. Asking a question like this shows an extremely small bank of knowledge about firearms....Show more
