Why is it so many ask questions which they think are "Profound"?

yet to those of us who are Truly intelligent and Profound they sound oh so stupidly overly pontificating as if the more words and the use of Big Words means they the more "deep and profound" ...Sad

Why is it so many ask questions which they think are "Profound"?

~~~ To them, they are 'profound'.
yet to those of us who are Truly intelligent
~~~ "Us"?
I'm waiting for evidence of your great intellect and profundity, o truly profound one.

they sound oh so stupid

~~~ And you sound oh so full of yourself and judgmental!
overly pontificating
~~~ Redundant.

as if the more words and the use of Big Words means they the more "deep and profound"

~~~ Sour grapes, perhaps?
Hard on the ego when you simply don't understand, and too full of yourself/proud/ignorant to go look it up?
...Sad
~~~ Judgmental! Vanity!
The sin of Pride!

Wouldn't it be your duty as the more intelligent being to nurture the less intelligent and lead them to greater understanding? Surely someone who asks a question wants to know, or maybe at the very least see that someone took the time to read what they thought. Its sad why? Sad that they can't see themselves? Maybe they will in time, and they just need to be shown the path to your understanding.

Umm.... If you are so "Truly intelligent and Profound" (sic) why are you hanging out in an online philosophy question and answer forum? Shouldn't you be out solving any number of worldwide crises?
