Is running with a jacket in the summer good?

I want to do exercise and running will be good to loose weight but I think with a jacket it will make you loose weight even faster since its going to be hotter and sweat more I want to run with my dog for about 10 minutes and walk for 20 minutes Its pretty hot outside I also want to clean my room with a jacket no turning any cool air on so I could sweat more Is it a good Idea? Im 15

As soon as you are old enough, make sure you take biology at your school.

Sweat has nothing to do with weight loss. Sweating is a mechanism to control body temperature. The primary thing which determines how much energy you spend is how far you travel during your jog/walk.

If you wear a jacket, the sweat can't evaporate. Your body systems work by feedback - when the body gets hot, it sweats until it cools off as the sweat evaporates. So if the sweat doesn't evaporate, the body doesn't get cool, so it just keeps sweating. This leads to dehydration, which is dangerous.

at 15 you shouldnt be doing workouts this extreme trying to lose weight. running in a jacket may make you sweat more but it could also cause overheating which is just as bad. i would suggest just running in normal running attire
