I left my MacBook inside the car overnight and it rainded overnight too and was cold and in the morning I noticed moisture on the external parts of the MacBook, is it water damaged? I didn't turn it on.

If there is condensation on the outside then there is a good chance of it on the inside so would let it dry out before use

there might be some moisture on the inside if you have enough put it in some rice that helps to dry it out fast also promptly take out battery with the battery inside it might short out and start a fire which would totally ruin your laptop before you put it in rice remove any thing you can and open any thing that you can so that there is maximum rice to laptop contact if you can / are brave enough you might would take the back off completely, but I wouldn't do that just in case some thing goes wrong when you do, like something small shoots out of it and you never find it agen then it wont turn on but your Choice.

Internal condensation on some parts is possible. Just let it dry out, attempt to turn it on. If anything goes wrong, go ahead and head to www.techsupportforum.com and inquire there!

let it sit in upside down in dry rice x 48-72hrs then you can use it

what happened is that moisture got into your computer and damaged your computer internals.
