Left milk in car trunk overnight - still cold, but is it still safe?
I know that you're supposed to throw out milk if it's been unrefrigerated past 2 hours.
However, I left a gallon of milk in my car overnight. It's been cold around here, and it actually froze last night. When I realized it was still there and grabbed it out this morning, it was still cold. Would it be OK to drink?

Humans aren't really supposed to drink cow's milk. The FDA deems it to be ''safe'' in order to subsidize the dairy industry. It is also due to self-interest.

Yes it is safe. You can freeze milk with good keeping qualities
Also.....To put this into prospective
New York City requires dairy's to use a special expiration date on milk sold in the city that is several days less than milk sold outside the city. This is because milk deliveries are typically made at night and milk sometimes sits outside deli's, bodega's and grocery stores for 12 hours or more unrefrigerated (sometimes in summer temperatures). When this happens, it does not spoil the milk, it just shortens the shelf life. Thus the special NYC expiration date.

First, if you live in a cold wintry area. Than it is safe because, the cold weather kept it refrigerated. Other than that, this is the ultimate test to see if its still good. Warm up a pot of coffee. Grab an empty cup and pour in a coffee. Now, pour a little bit of milk into your coffee. If there are chunks floating in your coffee, you're milk is not good. The opposite situation means its good. So, I encourage you to try it, goodluck! :D

I think it's probably fine. Was your car parked outside? If so then the inside of your trunk was colder than the inside of your refrigerator last night. If your car was inside a garage it might still be ok. The temperature in my garage is about 10 degrees warmer than the outside temperature usually, so if it was freezing outside your garage might have bee 42F which is almost exactly the temp in your fridge.

With the weather we're having, outside is even better than refrigerated. If it looks and smells ok, than go ahead and drink it.

if the weather outside is over 70 not safe. if below 50 its safe. and it also depens on the amount of time you left it.
