Skyrim: my spouse is missing!?

I have Lydia as a spouse and she just disappeared suddenly. I checked all around Windstad Manor and Breezehome and found nothing. I later found out that it is possible for bandits to kidnap your spouse but I never confronted a bandit that said they kidnaped my spouse. I may have killed them before they got the chance to say and I can't find any dead bodies around the house. The weird thing is that my children say, "Mom took us to the market and saw this huge fish!" even though Lydia has disappeared. Please help! I don't know if she died or was kidnapped and I don't have any previous auto saves. I'm also on a PS3 so I can't do console commands

If you and your spouse are living in a house other than the house in Whiterun, she could be in your home in Whiterun if you bought a house there. If not, then just keep on waiting. I once married Lydia too and she went missing forever. One day I was fighting in a cave and she appeared out of nowhere to help me before she got injured and crawled away saying "I cannot best you"

Or wait for 24 hours(game time) before doing Fast Travel.
