How do you get Facebook to stop posting your likes and comments to other photos on the feed?

With the new settings Facebook now shows every comment on a status or like or photo. Your friends can see everything you comment on (even if they are not mutual friends with that person). Is there a way to TURN this OFF??

the only thing you can do is add people to your restricted list
