The instructions are solve the following equation...

N/10 = 9 - N/5


How do I do this.. I'm not sure where to even begin

first start grouping common terms

n/10 + n/5 = 9

then reduce common terms

n/10 + 2n / 10 = 9

now you have a homogeneous fraction

( n + 2n ) / 10 = 9


3n / 10 = 9

3n = 90

n = 30
