A question for chaos magicians?

Being that the concept behind magick in this system is that it improves one's chances of success in a given situation, have you ever done a chance experiment, say flipping a coin many times, with magick to see if it really works? And what were the results?

~~~ The first sign of a successful mage is that he doesn't need to 'work'!
That whatever he needs seems to just 'simply' manifest in his life.
This I know.
Whether or not that can be attributed to 'magic', or not, is a matter of Perspective.
I don't think magick really works like that. It's more of a placebo type of phenomenon. In my opinion.
Ah. Good old Tommy Cooper. 'Just like that' was his catch-phrase. 'I walked into a bar the other night and went Aargh- it was an iron bar'. That was one of his jokes. Sadly missed.
