Both George Zimmerman and Obama have one white parent and one parent of a minority race. One is half black, while the other is half Hispanic. So, if George Zimmerman is in fact a white guy, then Obama isn't actually the first black POTUS.

@Sherman T. Potter Say what you want about the Sanford PD, but my issue is with the mainstream media. Madafaka!

Hispanic is an ethnicity, not a race. It's one from column A, one from column B. Race + ethnicity. So Zimmerman is a white Hispanic, with one black great-grandparent. (There are also black Hispanics and Indian/Native Hispanics.) Obama is multi-racial, 50% European and 50% Sub-Saharan African.
BTW -- Condi Rice and Cory Booker test at 45% white, according to "Finding Your Roots" on PBS. Race is plastic. People should stop obsessing over it.
Questions like this keep leaving out the part where Zimmerman was referred to as 'white' in the police report following the shooting of Martin. Initially that was about all the information the media had to report on. Since then he has most often been referred to as multiracial. It has nothing whatsoever to do with Obama and if someone has a problem with the police report referring to GZ as white then I suggest they take it up with the Sanford PD.
That is the best point anyone has ever made in this world. I never thought about it like that. Obama can't be racist unless he is racist towards his own Mamma but Al Sharpton's Mamma was black so he may be racist with the rest of the NAACP.
