Arizona State University or University of Arizona?

I'm trying to decide which of these two schools I should transfer to. I still haven't decided on a major but I'm leaning towards biology or psychology. I live in Phoenix now but wouldn't mind moving to Tucson. Which school would you recommend?

Well, I went to ASU so I'm biased...it was the best time of my life. I know that people always say it's a party school- but I never got in to that part and I had a blast. There are so many opportunitites there. I know that ASU is about 5k cheaper than U of A. And it is the top school in Arizona. And it has the most amount of students than any other college in the country. It has dozens of sororities and clubs you could join. I know that if you were a psych major then you'd be living in hassyampa- which has a pretty good dining hall. I've heard good things about the dorm. Don't know much about what biology majors do- but I had a class in the bio building and it was nice! Pretty close to devils diner. But anyway, obviously I would choose ASU because that school is the love of my life. But the reason why I chose it was because I am from Seattle, my grades in high school weren't too good, I wanted to have fun, and I needed to get away. If your from Phoenix and want to get away from home, then that would be a waste of time. U of A is over an hour and a half away- and I have also heard good things about Tuscon. If I were you, I would just look into which school has the better program for you. Good luck.

I know good people that go to U of A and I know complete Potheads at U of A. ASU is a big party school.. probably have a bunch of potheads too, but I have never met one that went there. Just find whichever one you like best. See what special programs they offer that you would like. I know ASU has a study/work abroad program, not so sure about U of A. Apply for both if you want and see who accepts you. Have you checked their tuition and fees? Is one that costs more going to be a problem for you? + living expenses might be more expensive in one place than the other. Are you interested in certain online classes? one might have what you are looking for. What do you want in college? Just go with whichever one feels right!

UA is better but in truth it actually isn't all that much better. ASU has some good people and some good programs too. If you are indifferent between the two then ok go to UA. But if you can get a better financial deal or otherwise have a clear reason why, for you, ASU makes more sense you should go there.

Since, of your predominant i do not believe it fairly makes a change which you opt for. I would say go along with ASU since that it charges much less money to attend. Despite the fact that, I feel you should simply discuss with each and every campus and spot which one great suits you.
