Rock and Pop: If you could write a book/make a movie based off of a song, what song would you choose?
And why? I think I'd write a story based off of "You Rascal You" by Hanni El Khatib. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dmfy_5nAH_U
I'd pick that one because I think it'd be interesting to develop the three main characters involved under that kind of emotional/mental strain, would make a dark and interesting story I think.
What about you guys?
BQ- Would you play Scattergories with me? Pretty please? ^-^
BQ2- What do you do when you're restless?
Thank you everyone!

"Dance With the Devil" by Immortal Technique http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qggxTtnKTMo
It's just such an interesting story, about a man who falls in love with a woman only for her to die of Aids.
BQ: Of course, but I don't even know what that is, so you'll have to teach me.
BQ2: Drink or lift weights, sometimes both. Though I'm not really lifting much since my clavicle is still broken.
I'd write a book / film based on the Laura Nyro song New York Tenderberry. I've not been to the U.S. thus far, let alone; New York. Still, it'd be a kind of travel logue from an outsider's point of view. This song to me, it evokes very strong imagery of New York. In my mind, I'm walking along certain streets almost, arm in arm with Laura. Laura Nyro, is someone I admire very much, since I was 15, i am now 56.
B.Q. Okay.
B.Q.2. When I'm restless, I listen to the radio. I find night time radio to be relaxing. Sometimes, I listen to radio on the net. KTAL, is from Lincoln, Nebraska and I like their music quite a bit. Other than that, I come on here for a while; I find it most relaxing most of the time.
The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald by Gordon Lightfoot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgI8bta-7aw It's a true story and the movie has to more exciting than this overlong song!
BA - I'd love to but I have to warn you that I'm a game fanatic and win every game I play.
I think I'd like to go in-depth {back-story, details of 'the middle', and an epilogue} for this little tale :~ '1952 Vincent Black Lightning' ~ Richard Thompson http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yw2yKNLEPc&fmt=18 I'd love to know just how James got his 1952, where it was he saw Molly, what they got up to together, and what Molly did after the song ends.
* * * * * * * edit Ooo... just remembered this one: 'As I Went Out One Morning' ~ Bob Dylan Thea Gilmore cover http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELqLtbZ0Bds&fmt=18 Because... I want to know - what did she do that he's sorry for?!?!?! * * * * * * *
BQ: Well, I've heard of it, but never played it. But... I love word games!
BQ2: Find something else to do - which could be anything!
I would do the entire album of "Carolus Rex" by Sabaton. That movie would be more Epic than Braveheart! (The album is a concept album about King Charles of Sweden).
BQ - I would but I'm getting ready to go see Kick-@ss 2 lol BQ2 - I work on my musical project when I'm restless...tends to help as focusing on the many many layers of instrumentation and vocals (Gregorian Chants and Choral passages) helps to settle me down.
