A song, a song, a song, Rock and Pop!?
I realize that I've ignored Chris Cornell when writing songs/poems. Well I'm about to change that!
Chris Cornell
The year was 1994, when we heard a new song play,
We were watching a Black Hole Sun,
Wash everything away.
The odd video played everywhere, we didn't have to look far,
And at the center of it all,
Was a bright and shining star.
I speak of course, of Chris Cornell and his Chris Cornellish hair,
He simply had us mesmerized,
When he used his Cornell-ish stare.
And then after Soundgarden, came the wonderful Audioslave,
And with Tom Morello by his side,
Oh, the thrills he gave!
It seemed as if, he was on the top! The tippity top of the world.
But he met a lad named Timbaland,
And his demise unfurled.
Now he sports a wool sweater, instead of a youthful tee.
I really miss, the old Chris,
And I think you agree with me.

What, why can't i wear a wool sweater? Seattle/France/New York/ wherever i live (I have almost as many houses as that old guy who was trying to become president, but i could probably count them if i needed to!) gets cold in august! You guys are hurting my fellings :(.

Marry me, Miss Fingertoes? Please?
Completely agree with all of it, quite frankly.
"I speak of course, of Chris Cornell and his Chris Cornellish hair"
= Y!A lyric of the year.

Oh Fingertoes your poem delights me. Of course, if you would have written it about me, it would have been so much better...
You and I must skip off into the sunset carrying bottles of whipped cream and Macauly Culkin at our side to live our happy lives!

I agree 100%, though i'd hardly call timbaland a "lad", he seems to need to drop a few pounds.
