I was prescribed 500 m but I accidentally took another 500 mg when I was meaning to take something else? Im freaking out and I don't want to wake up my mom because she gets super pissed if i wake her up. Should I call poison control? I'm 18 and weigh 135 lbs. thanks

If i am registering to vote for the first time and i currently attending a four year college in Indiana, but am from Illinois, would my vote count towards Illinois or Indiana?

I started college about a week ago and about 3 days into the semester I started having diarrhea. It actually hasn't stopped since then. I have been poopIng about five or six times a day for the past five days or so, pretty much after anytime I eat or drink. I don't have any other symtoms of anything and I have been eating a pretty balanced diet. I have tried pepto bismol a couple of times but that only works for a few hours. Is it normal for college food to do this or do I have some illness?

I ha a meeting with the dentist today and he didn't really give me any answers. He just told me not to worry about it and that I probably won't get them. He also said there is no way to reduce the likelihood of them which is kind of weird because everything else I have read says there are certain risk factors (smoking, drinking through a straw, etc). He didn't give me any more info, I told him I had researched it online an he just told me not to believe what I read online, but he really didnt give me any information so I really have no information to counter what I have read online. They also said it is ok to drink through a straw afterwards which is the opposite of is what I have read. Does anyone have any information on dry sockets I should know? Or why the maybe why the dentist didn't give me any info? How bad are dry sockets? How likely is it that I will get them? And is there really nothing I can do to help prevent them? I hav read that the pain is comparable to child birth so I'm really scared.

My mom, my brother and I all have the stomach flu. I feel nauseous, have the chills, feel sweaty, achy, crampy, weak, etc. my mom and brother have been vomiting but for me everything is uhhh, coming out of the other end. Is this normal? Do I have stomach flu or something else? Also the symptoms started about 12-13 hours ago

I have been reading about cultural appropriation (sp?) and most of the articles said that random people wearing things like headdresses is disrespectful towards traditions of certain tribes (which makes sense), but I didn't see anything about wearing Native American jewelry like dream catcher earrings. I was just wondering if I could get some opinions on it, preferably from someone who knows what they are talking about.

I am thinking of going to college in Washington state but I hear that they are at risk for a megathrust quake like the one that happened in japan. I have anxiety about that sort of stuff but I really want to go to school there. Is it still worth living there or is the risk too big?

I've been in two earthquakes in my life and they were like magnitude 3 and i slept through them, so this whole idea is really weird to me.

I always remember getting a ton of bug bites in Florida but i think that was in like July when we used to go. If we are going to key west in early april how bad will the mosquitoes be and what bug spray works best? Also, is dengue fever something to worry about?

The dog is a shih zhu bishon mix. He is fully grown. He has had runny poop with blood in it for about 2 days. Every site online said that it is probably a parasite but he isn't acting hungry and there are no worms or anything in his poop. My parents are at work and I can't drive to the vet. Should I just wait for them to get home?

Im sort of starting to go though a doors phase right now, and Jim seems like he was a pretty interesting guy. I was at the school library today during lunch because i'm kind of annoyed with my friends (long story) and i decided it would be better to just go to the library and study for a science test and sneak in some food there but i saw i book on Jim Morrison and i started reading it and i didn't get to studying xD. Yeah, im sure you'r not. But if you do then that would be awesome because i need advise from people who dont know who im talking about so they won't be offended.

Basically, im bored with my friends. My friends bore the living hell out of me, i actually try to get out of lunch because i hate sitting with them. I have a few good friends, but they dont have the same lunch period as me or they are never at lunch or they are pretty quite at lunch. My best friend hardly has been in school at all this year. All my friends talk about is school, but they talk about things like how many AP classes they are taking next year (most of them are taking like 3-4), im not taking ANY because i have anxiety issues with school work. They have nothing in common with me, im interested in art, rock music, tv, satire, society, different subcultures, etc. They just talk about academics, and they are pretty intimidating because i am an average student and they are all really good students. They also talk about classes im not in. They tend to not be very inclusive in their conversations. I go to a really big school, so you'd assume i'd find a group of kids that have similar interests to me. I think there is a group but the problem is i dont know how to approach them, i feel like it would be weird to just walk up and start talking. Most of them are juniors/seniors so im not in classes with many of them but some of them are also sophomores. The group of people are kind of like the "alternative/punk/metalhead/ hippie" kind of people and i am interested in that kind of music and stuff. The ones i do know also seem to have similar thoughts on things that i do. The other issue is that they pretty much know each other because they all smoke in the same place after school, i dont smoke and i dont plan on starting and i know people who hang out there and dont smoke and they dont get pressured to or anything, but i just dont know how to approach them otherwise. And i'm getting depressed by hanging out with my current friends because honestly they make me feel stupid because im not in 4 ap classes or whatever. So i'm just really stuck in this situation, i feel really out of place in my group of friends and i dont really have much in common with them. How do i approach a different group of people without being weird?

Will it always have kind of an artistic/hippie vibe or will it get run down with yuppies?
