they always say "he can blow up planets" and "he can destroy a universe" (though this is never been stated true). having that much destructive capabilities doesnt mean he is the strongest.

There have been many characters that were stronger then Goku.
Baby and Cell was just 2 example. There was one that took Goku, Vagita, and Trunks to defeat.

Fanboys are obsessive. More to the point, they're boys--male, and territorial. You'd think we'd get that by now and not play the competitive, pissing-contest Best Pony game. Seriously.
That's what it boils down to--everyone objectifying their heroes like pieces of meat and declaring "Mine has the BEST MANE !!11!!!onedy!!"
But yeah, guys fall prey to this. It's a testosterone thing and an "investment" thing: we feel needs to justify how we spend our time and affections. Because the truth is: Goku is a dork. On purpose--he started out naive and gets handed the Idiot Ball more often than ANY main character in any anime ever (that isn't Sailor Moon, hush). He's dumb for someone who is supposed to be that "Best Hero EVAR !!!1moaronedy!!!"
He's dumb and frankly he's more than a bit of an offensive stereotype.
So yeah. If it helps, do a Find and Replace, substitute the word "Derpy" every time you see "Son Goku". It explains a lot. :D

Who could be stronger than Goku. He's a super saiyan GOD now, when he fought bill at SSJ3 bill was able to beat him with a flick but when Goku became a ssjgod he was able to beat bill by being alot stronger. So if he could destroy the universe in a blink of a eye at his power before amagen his power now.

1)Because they're fanboys. Fanboys have a fanatical and blind devotion to their obsession. Stating anything that goes against their idol, even if you legit evidence to support your claim, will cause the fanboy to rage.
2) The other group is those who have a narrow view on anime. Also, a lot of people here in the C&A section of Y!A are young teenagers who mainly watch shounen animes like Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece, or what is popular. Because they see Goku is the only one who can planet bust in their narrow view of watching anime, they assume that he is the strongest.
3) Trolls. These are the people who deliberately make spite threads in Goku's favor or overhype him to get a rise out of people.

Please refer to my post in the link below. It is the answer with the long list of anime characters that can defeat Goku. Heck, Goku isn't even the strongest in his own series. If you're going by the manga, then Mystic Gohan, SSJ3 Gotenks, Vegito, and Super Buu are all stronger than him. If you're going by GT and the movies, then Omega Shenron, Super Janemba, Gogeta, Bills, and Whis are all stronger than him.
