Would you prefer to live in the moment vs planning for the future?
Pole taking for research project.
Living in the moment, for researchers brings the most happiness mainly because it does not stress you out with events that don't exist yet, or are undetermined
Living in the future, provides more stress as if things don't go out exactly (which they hardly do) then most get picky about how bad it went.
Example to work with
Buying Ice Cream at a new location and new brand name.
You have a friend that will be eating with you. But they never order first.
Rules:
no sampling, only enough for one ice cream, no sharing.
Moment: For those that live in the moment.
Chocolate!
And they enjoy it.
Planner: Those that plan
Which should I get, I always enjoy Chocolate but some locations make it too sweet, or not sweet enough. You can't go wrong with Vanilla. Most places make the same way, but what if I get Vanilla and my friend gets chocolate and enjoys it I would be missing out. (you know the rest if you are this type)
So first of all, Which are you "Moment" or "Planner". Which would do you think is better to be?
